Alessandro Giulianelli

Product Owner
Konica Minolta Global R&D

I was born in 1982. Since I was very young, I was curious about electronics. My first PC was a Commodore 64 and my first book(GW Basic). At age 15 I moved to Turbo Pascal and a year later to C++.
I specialized in “Digital Signal Transmission”. In 2007 I worked for Tasgroup as Senior SW Dev.
After this job, I moved to Elt Spa. From 2011 I worked for Poste Italiane in corporate sales as proposal manager.
At the end of 2014, I married my wife and later my daughter was born.
Since 2019 I am a Product Owner in Konica Minolta Global R&D.
This is only a small part of my past activities.

Investments in AI in 2020, despite the issues created by COVID-19, are not reducing. In 30% of cases, investments will increase. IT decision makers consider AI projects extremely important for success of their company, but reports say only 20% of analytic insights will deliver business outcomes and only 15% of use cases leveraging AI techniques will be successful. There are many reasons but for me the most important is the lack of real organization for AI-driven services. I will suggest an alternative approach that may inspire a change.
